AYYYYY Snoop – I like this, a lot. Palm Tree CBD is a great all-around strain, courtesy of Leafs By Snoop. This strain offers a build-able, clear-headed, balanced high that is welcomed at any time of the day. Palm Tree CBD is uplifting, not sedating and not too strong. It’s a feel good high with a great mind-body balance. It’s really easy on the throat and lungs – the vapour is thick and smooth. This strain would be fantastic for beginners. You can “wake & bake” with it (if that’s your thing) and not be worn out for the whole day. I have been ordering Palm Tree CBD since it has been available with my LP and have never been disappointed. It is something that I love to have on hand for it’s well-rounded, reliable effects. Certainly a win for medical users who aren’t looking for that full-on, cerebral high feeling.
Sight, Touch, Taste & Smell: 25/40
Palm Tree CBD flowers are dark green with bunches of light orange pistils throughout. It’s on the dry side, but it grinds down into a nice, fluffy, wonderful consistency. It came with some pretty generous sized buds for a smaller order (5 grams). It was difficult for me to describe the taste at first, but I’ve settled on a thyme, pine, wintergreen sort of taste. Really smooth and fresh – enjoyable. The smell is a bit… underwhelming to be honest. I love you Snoop, but this kind of smells like soup. Like the cup-a-soup onion soup mix. In a blind smell test, I rated Palm Tree CBD last out of 4 strains (Lemon Skunk, Souris Skies, Cavendish Dunes, Palm Tree CBD). Sorry, Snoop. This is not to say that it’s not a good buy. I would purchase again and again – It’s great to have on hand.
At 9 dollars per gram, the price is pretty on-point and average for a higher quality strain. I am surprised (and really happy) that Leafs By Snoop has some average-price offerings, despite the popular branding.
What I like:
+ It’s a very functional and buildable high, so most users would benefit from this strain (with variable dosages in mind).
+ It tastes fresh and is really smooth on the inhale.
What I don’t like:
– Red, red eyes. Stop sign red eyes in higher quantities. Way more evident than with most other strains I have tried.
– If you are an intermediate to advanced user, you may need to use more product if you are looking for the cerebral effects to go along with the CBD effects.
